Cenobamate is highly bioavailable orally and is not affected by food intake.

Can the generic version of Phenobarnate also be effective in treating diseases?

Currently, we are not aware of any generic version, so we cannot know the efficacy of its generic version. Efficacy of Phenobarate

In a major study involving 437 patients, Phenobarate was more effective than placebo (a sham treatment) in reducing the number of seizures in people with partial-onset seizures that were uncontrollable despite treatment.

During 3 months of treatment, approximately 40% of patients taking 100 mg of phenobarate daily experienced a reduction in seizure frequency of at least 50%, and approximately 64% of patients taking 400 mg of phenobarate daily experienced a reduction in seizure frequency of at least 50%. By comparison, only 26% of patients who took a placebo experienced at least a 50% reduction in seizure frequency.

What should be avoided while taking Phenomenate?

1. Phenomenate may cause blurred vision and may affect the patient's reaction. Avoid driving or participating in hazardous activities until the effects of this drug on patients are known.

2. While taking Phenobarate, do not drink alcohol or take other drugs that may make the patient feel drowsy or dizzy unless consulting a doctor.

3. Sometimes it is not safe to use certain drugs at the same time. It may affect the blood concentration of phenobanate or other drugs taken, which may increase side effects or reduce the efficacy of the drug.

4. Cenobamate may reduce the efficacy of contraceptives, and women should use other or alternative non-hormonal contraceptives for contraception.

Phenobarnate can help control the condition of people with epilepsy, but it cannot cure it. Do not stop taking phenobarnate without your doctor's consent. Seizures may become more severe if you stop taking phenidate suddenly.
