How to take Riluzole
Riluzole (Riluzole) is used to treat patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Riluzole does not cure ALS, but it may prolong the survival of people in the early stages of the disease or the time they need a tracheostomy (a breathing tube in the throat).
Riluzole is a prescription medicine and treatment with riluzole should only be initiated by a specialist with experience in the management of motor neuron disease. Measure serum aminotransferases before and during treatment with riluzole. The recommended dose is 100 mg per day (one tablet every 12 hours, 50 mg each time), take at least 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. Oral films can also be placed on the tongue, one piece at a time, and the film will stick to the tongue and begin to dissolve. Do not cut or divide it, and do not take it with liquid. Do not talk, chew, or spit while the film dissolves.
The original drug Riluzole has been launched in China and has entered the scope of Class B medical insurance. Specifications The price of 50mg*56 tablets per box may be around 4,000 RMB.
