Long-term use of pirfenidone for six years

A change of ±10% occurred in 61.7% and 62.5% of patients in the second and third years, respectively. In patients receiving long-term pirfenidone, FVC improved only marginally. However, in more than half of the cases, the decline in FVC was prevented for three years.
