依普利酮对高血压患者有效果吗？

Eplerenone is a new type of selective aldosterone receptor blocker. The indications of Eplerenone are: 1. Congestive heart failure after acute myocardial infarction: Eplerenone can improve the quality of life of patients with left ventricular dysfunction (ejection fraction ≤ 40%). Clinical trials have proven that this product can also be used for congestive heart failure after acute myocardial infarction; 2. Anti-hypertension: Eplerenone can be used alone or in combination with other anti-hypertensive drugs for the treatment of hypertension.

Is eplerenone effective in patients with hypertension? Eplerenone is a white or off-white crystal that has a stronger antagonism to aldosterone than spironolactone. It can effectively control hypertension, reduce damage to target organs such as the heart, brain, and kidneys, and improve microalbuminuria in patients with type 2 diabetes.

A clinical trial on eplerenone randomly divided 45 patients with mild to moderate hypertension into the losartan group (22 patients) and the eplerenone group (23 patients). The losartan group and the eplerenone group adopted a double-blind, double-simulated, positive drug parallel control method. They received losartan and eplerenone treatment respectively. After 4 weeks of treatment, if the blood pressure did not reach the target, the drug dose was doubled and the treatment continued for 4 weeks. If the blood pressure reaches the target, maintain the original dose and continue treatment for 4 weeks. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, compared with before treatment, the average sitting diastolic blood pressure of the losartan group decreased by (11.33±1.09) mmH g, and the average sitting diastolic blood pressure of the eplerenone group decreased by (13.02±1.40) mmH g. There was no statistical significance between the two groups (P0.05). Conclusion: Both eplerenone and losartan can effectively reduce the average sitting systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
