氢化可的松片的用法
(hydrocortisone) is a drug used to treat adrenal insufficiency in adults. The recommended daily dose is 20-30 mg. Take 2/3 of the required drug in the morning and the remaining 1/3 after lunch. During the medication period, if the patient experiences stress, the dosage of hydrocortisone tablets should be increased appropriately. Specifically, it can be increased to 80 mg per day and taken in divided doses. For children, the dosage of the drug is 20-25/m² based on body surface area per day, divided into 3 times, once every hour.
In addition, patients should also pay attention during the actual medication: For pregnant women, because glucocorticoids can pass through the placenta, and animal experimental studies have confirmed that administration during pregnancy can increase the incidence of fetal cleft palate, placental insufficiency, spontaneous abortion, and intrauterine growth retardation, so the use of pharmacological doses of glucocorticoids may increase the incidence of placental insufficiency, neonatal weight loss, or stillbirth. In this regard, it is best not to use hydrocortisone tablets during pregnancy.
For lactating women, since glucocorticoids can be excreted in breast milk and cause adverse effects on the baby, such as growth inhibition, adrenocortical function suppression, etc., pregnant and lactating women should avoid using hydrocortisone tablets as much as possible after weighing the pros and cons.
For children, long-term use of adrenocortical hormones may cause some adverse effects, so children must be very cautious when using it.
For the elderly, the use of glucocorticoids is prone to high blood pressure and diabetes. The use of glucocorticoids in elderly patients, especially postmenopausal women, can easily aggravate osteoporosis. Therefore, when actually using the drug, it is best for elderly patients to consider whether to use this drug based on the professional advice of their doctor.
In addition, once the drug is overdosed, it may cause hyperadrenocorticism syndrome, so patients must not increase or decrease the drug without permission.
