氢化可的松片（hydrocortisone）用法用量

Used for diseases caused by adrenal insufficiency, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic fever, gout, bronchial asthma, etc. It is used for allergic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, pruritus, etc. What is the usage and dosage of hydrocortisone tablets?

Usage and dosage of hydrocortisone tablets: For the treatment of adrenal insufficiency in adults, the daily dose is 20 to 30 mg, take 2/3 in the morning and 1/3 after lunch. When there is stress, the dosage should be increased appropriately, up to 80mg per day, taken in divided doses. The therapeutic dose for children is 20 to 25/m2 per day based on body surface area, divided into 3 times and taken once every hour.

What hydrocortisone does:

1. Replacement therapy is required after acute and chronic adrenal insufficiency (including adrenal crisis), adenohypophysialism and subtotal adrenalectomy.

2. Toxaemia complicated by severe infection: such as toxic pneumonia, toxic dysentery, fulminant meningococcal meningitis (epidemic meningococcal meningitis), fulminant hepatitis, severe typhoid fever, acute miliary tuberculosis, scarlet fever, septicemia, etc. While effective antibiotics are used to control infection, hydrocortisone can be used as adjuvant treatment.

3. Allergic diseases: such as bronchial asthma, status asthmaticus, serum sickness, angioedema, etc. Hydrocortisone can be used to relieve symptoms.

4. Anti-shock treatment: In the case of toxic shock due to infection, while applying antibiotics, hydrocortisone can be used early, in a short period of time, and in large doses. The drug can be stopped after the effect is produced. For anaphylactic shock, it can be combined with the first-choice drug epinephrine. In hypovolemic shock, fluids, electrolytes or blood transfusions should be replenished first. They can be used together when the effect is not good.
