How to take ASEAN Mitotan: The use of ASEAN Mitotan needs to be under the guidance of a doctor. The patient's own weight should be used as a guideline and the injection should be based on body weight.

The recommended dose of ASEAN Mitotan is 6~15mg/kg per day, taken orally in 3~4 times, starting from a small dose and gradually increasing to the maximum tolerated dose. The range of variation is 2~16g per day, usually 8~10g per day. About 40% of the oral dose is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, and the remaining 60% is excreted unchanged in the feces. 5~10g per day, the blood drug concentration can reach 10~90μg/ml, and the metabolite concentration is 30~50. 6 to 9 μg/ml weeks after drug withdrawal, o-chlorane can still be detected in plasma. This product is highly fat-soluble and is mainly stored in fat. Water-soluble metabolites excreted in urine account for approximately 25% of the administered dose. 

ASEAN mitotan dose adjustment:

If adverse reactions occur, the dose should be reduced until the maximum tolerated dose is determined. Treatment should continue until clinical effects appear. After effectiveness, the dosage should be changed to 2 to 4 g per day, with a course of treatment lasting 4 to 8 weeks. If taking the maximum tolerated dose is still ineffective for 3 months, stop treatment. Treatment should be carried out under the guidance of a physician familiar with this drug. If the patient can tolerate a higher dose and it may improve clinical response, the dose should continue to be increased until adverse reactions occur. The accumulated experience so far shows that continuous treatment with the highest possible dose is the best method, which can be used up to 18~19 g/day.
