Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common clinical respiratory disease. In recent years, its incidence has continued to increase. Respimat inhalation spray can work directly on the lesion through atomization, which can reduce systemic adverse reactions and exert a synergistic effect.

Respimat has additional effects in animal models of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, providing greater protection against lipopolysaccharide-induced airway hyperresponsiveness in guinea pigs and acetylcholine-induced bronchoconstriction in dogs than in humans. In addition, Respimat has been shown to reduce tumor growth factor beta-mediated neutrophil inflammation in in vitro trials, implying that it has additional anti-inflammatory effects.
