Instructions Generic name: Budesonide, English name: Budesonide, drug ingredient Budesonide

[Indications] 1. For patients with glucocorticoid-dependent or independent bronchial asthma and asthmatic chronic bronchitis; 2. Patients with mild or moderate colonic Crohn's and ulcerative colitis limited to the sigmoid colon can use this product for enema.

【Usage and Dosage】

The dosage of bubudesonide aerosol should be individualized.

1. Inhalation of 200 μg twice a day or 400 μg once a day from aerosol or dry powder (Dubo, Pulmic); for severe or refractory asthma, the dose can be increased to 400 μg to 800 μg in the short term, inhaled 1 to 2 times a day. After the condition is controlled, gradually reduce it to the above-mentioned usual dosage for maintenance.

2. Treatment of rhinitis: Spray 50μg into the nasal cavity twice a day.

【Adverse reactions】

1. Mild throat irritation, cough, and hoarseness; 2. Oropharyngeal Candida infection; 3. Immediate or delayed allergic reactions, including rash, contact dermatitis, urticaria, angioedema, and bronchospasm; 4. Psychiatric symptoms, such as nervousness, restlessness, depression, and behavioral disorders.

【Notes】

1. People with tuberculosis, airway fungi, mold, and viral infections should use with caution. 2. Pregnant women should avoid use. 3. To reduce pharyngeal thrush, patients should rinse their mouth after taking the medicine. 4. Fetal toxicity: Clinical experience in pregnant women is limited. Like other glucocorticoids, budesonide caused various types of malformations (cleft palate, skeletal deformities) in animal experiments. However, the correlation between the data from animal experiments and humans has not yet been demonstrated. Until more experience is gained, pregnant women should not use this product unless there are special considerations.

[Drug Interactions] 1 There are no reports of clinically significant interactions with other drugs used to treat asthma. 2 Ketoconazole and cimetidine can affect the metabolism of Budesonide in the body, but there is no obvious clinical significance at the recommended inhaled dose.
