万赛维的注意事项有什么？

(Valcyte) is the L-valyl ester (prodrug) of ganciclovir. After oral administration, it is rapidly converted into ganciclovir by esterases in the small intestine and liver. Ganciclovir is a synthetic 2’-deoxyguanosine monophosphate analog that inhibits herpesvirus replication in vitro and in vivo. Vancevi is mainly used to treat patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) combined with cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis, and to prevent CMV infection in high-risk solid organ transplant patients. What are the precautions for Wansaiwei?

1. There is no safety data of Valcyte tablets during human pregnancy. Pregnant women should avoid the use of valganciclovir hydrochloride tablets unless the benefits to the mother far outweigh the potential harm to the fetus.

2. Ganciclovir may be secreted into breast milk and cause serious adverse reactions in nursing infants. Therefore, when considering the possible benefits of Valcyte tablets to nursing mothers, a decision should be made whether to interrupt medication or breast-feeding.

3. The safety and effectiveness of children's medication have not yet been determined, so Valcyte tablets are not recommended for use in children.

4. Avoid contact of broken tablets with skin, mucous membranes, especially eyes; in case of accidental contact, rinse eyes thoroughly with water immediately and skin with soapy water.

5. Hematological diseases: severe leukopenia, neutropenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia and bone marrow failure, including aplastic anemia. May occur at any time during treatment and worsen with continued use; cell counts usually begin to recover within 3-7 days of stopping treatment. Do not use if the absolute neutrophil count is <500 cells/MM3, platelet count <25,000/m3, or hemoglobin <8 g/dl; use with caution in patients with myelosuppression, cytopenia, or patients receiving myelosuppressive drugs/radiation. Monitor CBC and platelet counts at baseline and frequently during treatment, especially in infants and patients with renal impairment, patients with prior drug-induced leukopenia, and patients with neutrophil counts <1000 cells/mm3 at the start of treatment.

6. Do not bite the tablets into pieces when taking them, but swallow them whole.
