Can I vaccinate myself with Ustekinumab?

The appropriate dose of ustekinumab (Ustekinumab) should be determined by the healthcare provider based on the patient's current weight at the time of administration. For pediatric patients, healthcare providers are advised to use ustekinumab. Patients can self-inject if their physician deems it appropriate, or caregivers can inject ustekinumab after being trained in appropriate subcutaneous injection techniques. It is recommended that each injection be given in a different anatomical location than the previous injection (e.g., upper arm, buttock, thigh, or any quadrant of the abdomen) and not into areas of tender, abraded, erythematous, or indurated skin. When using single-dose vials, it is recommended to use a 1mL syringe with a 27-gauge needle.
