Is there an Indian version of Delamanid?
It is understood that there is currently no Indian version of Delamanid on the market, but there may be Delamanid for sale in India. Delamanid is a drug used in adults, adolescents, children and infants weighing at least 10 kg with tuberculosis that affects the lungs and is multidrug-resistant (at least to two standard tuberculosis drugs, isoniazid and rifampicin).

Delamanid is used together with other TB drugs and is used only when other standard drugs cannot be used because the disease is resistant to them or because of their side effects. Delamanid contains the active substancedelamanid. Tuberculosis is relatively rare, and delamanid was designated as an "orphan drug" (a drug for rare diseases) by the European Union in 2008. The most commonly observed adverse drug reactions in patients receiving delamanid + optimized therapy include nausea, vomiting, headache, insomnia, dizziness, tinnitus, hypokalemia, gastritis, decreased appetite, and fatigue.
The original drug Delamani has been launched in China and is included in the scope of Class B medical insurance. Reimbursement is limited to patients with multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis. Specifications The price of each box of 50mg*60 tablets may be around RMB 6,000. The price of the Russian version of the original drug Dramani, 50mg*48 tablets, sold overseas may be around RMB 1,000-2,000 per box (the price may fluctuate due to the exchange rate). There is currently no generic version of Dramani available on the market, so there is no Indian version for more drug information and specific prices. Please consult Yaode Medical Consultants.
