Efficacy of Nintedanib

Nintedanib has been compared to placebo in four major studies, and in all studies the primary measure of effectiveness was patients' decline in lung function over 1 year of treatment, as measured by their forced vital capacity (FVC). In a study of patients with progressive fibrosing interstitial lung disease, FVC decreased by an average of 81 ml in the nintedanib group.
