How to take Tafasitamab

The recommended dose of Tafasitamab is 12 mg/kg, based on actual body weight. Coadminister tafracetamumab with lenalidomide 25 mg for up to 12 cycles, then continue tafaracetamumab as monotherapy until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. Tafaracetamumab was administered by intravenous infusion on days 1, 4, 8, 15, and 22 of cycle 1; on days 1, 8, 15, and 22 of cycles 2 and 3; and on days 1 and 15 of cycle 4 and thereafter, with each 28-day treatment cycle.

Administer premedication 30 minutes to 2 hours before starting the tafaracetamab infusion to minimize infusion-related reactions. Premedication may include acetaminophen, histamine H1 receptor antagonists, histamine H2 receptor antagonists, and/or glucocorticoids. For patients who do not experience infusion-related reactions during the first three infusions, premedication can be selected for subsequent infusions. If the patient experiences an infusion-related reaction, administer the drug before each subsequent infusion.

Talfaracetam's single-origin generic drug has not yet been launched in the country, so it is not included in medical insurance. There are European and American versions of Tafaracetam's single-antigen drugs marketed overseas. The American version's specificationsThe price per box of 200 mg may be around 20,000 yuan, and the price of the European version's 200 mg box may be around 10,000 yuan (the price may fluctuate due to exchange rates). The ingredients of the two drugs are basically the same, but the price is more expensive. Currently, there is no generic version of Tafaracetam on the market.
