How to use Trelagliptin tablets

Trelagliptin (Trelagliptin) is a new long-acting, highly selective DPP-4 inhibitor that is taken orally once a week. Because hyperglycemia is a key determinant of microvascular and macrovascular complications in type 2 diabetes, it is important to maintain long-term glycemic control to prevent and delay the onset and progression of complications. In a phase 3 study, 100 mg of trotagliptin was administered orally once weekly for 24 weeks, and trotagliptin was shown to be non-inferior to the once-daily DPP-4 inhibitor alogliptin, with good safety and tolerability, and was comparable to alogliptin.

The original drug of trotagliptin has not yet received relevant approval for marketing in China, so it cannot be covered by medical insurance.
