Can tremelimumab/tremelimumab be used together with Infinifer?

Infinifer is the brand name of the original drug durvalumab (Durvalumab) marketed in China. According to the prescription guidelines for tremelimumab/tremelimumab, it can be used together with Infineon to treat related diseases. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the combination of the two drugs for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer and inoperable liver cancer. Clinical trials of tremelimumab suggest it may help control several different types of cancer.

Based on results from the HIMALAYA Phase 3 trial, patients who received the combination of tremelimumab and imrvalumab had a 22% lower risk of death compared with sorafenib (based on hazard ratio [HR] of 0.78, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.66-0.92; p=0.0035). Evidence showed that about 31% of patients who received the combination therapy were alive after three years, and 20% of patients who received sorafenib were alive during the same follow-up period. Based on results from the POSEIDON phase 1 trial, the trial showed that adding a short course of tremelimumab to durvalumab plus chemotherapy improved overall survival and progression-free survival compared with chemotherapy alone.

Tremelimumab/Tremelimumab is a new type of cancer immunotherapy drug. It has not yet been launched in China, so it cannot be included in the medical insurance. Domestic patients cannot yet purchase this drug. It is understood that the US version of temsitumumab original drug sold overseas may cost more than more than 3,000 US dollars per box, and the specification is 300mg/50mL (20mg/mL).
