Medication Guide for Acalatinib/Acalatinib: Detailed Explanation of Dosage and Administration

Acalabrutinib is an innovative drug for the treatment of mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL). It is available in the form of oral capsules for patients, and to ensure optimal results and minimize discomfort, patients should strictly follow the following dosing guidelines.

1. How to take:

Acotinib capsules should be swallowed whole with water and avoid opening, breaking or chewing.

This drug can be taken with food or on an empty stomach, depending on personal preferences.

If you miss a dose for any reason and it has been more than 3 hours, you should skip the dose and continue taking it at the next scheduled time. Never take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

2. Recommended dosage:

Monotherapy: For patients withMCL, CLL, or SLL, the recommended dose is 100 mg of acotinib orally every 12 hours until disease progression or intolerable toxicity.

Combination therapy: When acotinib is used in combination with obinutuzumab, the recommended dose for patients with untreated CLL or SLL is also 100 mg every 12 hours. Treatment started with cycle 1 (each cycle was 28 days), and otuzumab was added starting with cycle 2, for a total of 6 cycles of treatment. If both drugs are used on the same day, acotinib should be given first, followed by otuzumab.

Patients with severe hepatic impairment should not use acotinib.
