Lenalidomide dosage interval
The dosage intervals for lenalidomide vary depending on the disease being treated and the medication regimen. Generally, lenalidomide is administered in cycles designed to give the body time to recover while maintaining continued control of the disease.
For conditions such as multiple myeloma, lenalidomide is often given in combination with dexamethasone. A standard medication cycle is generally 28 days. In this cycle, lenalidomide is taken continuously from day 1 to day 21, with a daily dose of usually 25 mg, while dexamethasone is taken during the cycle. Take it on specific days (such as 1, 8, 15, 21 days).

In each 28 day cycle, the 22 day to the 28 day is the drug withdrawal period. The patient does not take lenalidomide. This is to give the body a chance to recover and reduce possible side effects caused by drug accumulation.
For different conditions, the dosage regimen of lenalidomide may be adjusted. For example, in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome, a regimen of three weeks on and one week off might be used.
Patients should closely monitor blood routine and renal function indicators while taking lenalidomide, and pay attention to observe whether adverse drug reactions occur, such as hematological toxicity, renal function damage, etc. Taking lenalidomide does not need to be done every day, but according to specific cycles and dosages, which helps balance the efficacy of the drug with the patient's tolerance.
It is important to note that each patient's specific medication regimen may vary based on individual differences, severity of illness, and physician's clinical judgment. Therefore, patients should strictly follow the doctor's instructions when using lenalidomide.
