How to take the Indian version of Lynparza (Olaparib, Lipadro)
The Indian version of Lynparza, also known as Lynparza or Lipadrox, is an important anti-cancer drug that is widely used to treat various cancers such as ovarian cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, and prostate cancer. In order to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the drug, patients need to strictly adhere to the correct method of taking it.
Normally, the recommended dose of olaparib is twice a day. Depending on the drug strength, it may be two 150mg tablets each time, that is, a total of four tablets per day, reaching a total dose of 600mg. However, the specific dosage may be adjusted based on the patient's specific condition and type of cancer.

In some cases, your doctor may recommend a dose reduction if a patient experiences adverse reactions. For example, you can first reduce it to twice a day, 250mg each time (1tablet150mg and 1tablet 100 mg tablet combination), or further reduce to 200 mg twice daily (2 100 mg tablets).
Olaparib should be taken at a fixed time every day to maintain the stability of blood concentrations. It is usually recommended to take it once with breakfast and once with dinner.
Although Lynparza can be taken with a meal or on an empty stomach, patients should avoid consuming too many acidic foods (such as citrus fruits, juices, vinegar, etc.) while taking the drug because these foods may affect the absorption of the drug. At the same time, you should avoid taking it with foods or drugs containing calcium, magnesium, aluminum or iron ions to avoid interfering with the absorption of Lynparza.
For patients with renal impairment, patients with moderate renal impairment should have the dose reduced to 200 mg twice daily. Lynparza is not recommended for patients with severe renal impairment or end-stage renal disease. Patients with hepatic impairment require no dose adjustment in patients with mild and moderate impairment, but use is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
Patients should have regular blood tests while taking Lynparza to monitor the drug's side effects and effectiveness. If any adverse reactions or drug intolerance occurs, you should contact your doctor immediately and follow the doctor's instructions for adjustments.
