The main tasks of anti-inflammatories are to reduce the inflammatory response, relieve pain, and lower body temperature. They effectively relieve inflammatory symptoms by inhibiting the production or action of inflammatory mediators, such as prostaglandins. Common anti-inflammatory drugs include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen) and corticosteroids (such as prednisone), which do not have antibacterial properties.

Although cycloserine is not classified as an anti-inflammatory drug, it can indirectly reduce the inflammatory response caused by bacterial infections during the treatment of infections. When TB is effectively controlled, the inflammation caused by the infection also subsides. Therefore, cycloserine can relieve inflammatory symptoms associated with infection to some extent, but this is not its primary effect.

Cycloserine should be used strictly under your doctor's instructions and is intended to treat specific bacterial infections and not for general inflammation or pain management.
