How long should you take between ixazomib doses?
The dosage interval of ixazomib (usually referred to as ixazomib citrate capsules) is determined based on its treatment cycle. Generally, ixazomib is used in combination with lenalidomide and dexamethasone to treat adult patients with multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior therapy.
Ixazomib was administered orally on days 1, 8 and day 15 of the treatment cycle, i.e. once a week for a total of three times. This means that the dosing interval is 7 days, but it is important to take the medication on specific days during the treatment cycle.

Lenalidomide is administered daily from day 1 to day 21 of the treatment cycle, that is, once a day for three weeks, followed by one week off. This is not exactly consistent with the dosing interval for ixazomib, but both are part of a combination regimen.
Dexamethasone was administered on day 28 of the treatment cycle on day 1, day 8, and day 1 Dosed on day 5 and day 22 once a week (on week 4 only on day 22). The dosing interval of dexamethasone also depends on the treatment cycle.
Patients should take the drug at approximately the same time on days 1, 8 and 15 of each treatment cycle to ensure the stability of drug concentrations. Ixazomib should be taken at least 1 hour before a meal or at least 2 hours after a meal to reduce the impact of food on drug absorption. For special groups (such as the elderly, patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency) or patients who experience adverse reactions, doctors may adjust the dose or dosage interval of ixazomib based on specific circumstances.
During the treatment period, patients should receive regular monitoring and follow-up from doctors, including liver function tests, routine blood tests, etc., to evaluate the treatment effect and drug safety.
