　　Lusutrombopag is an oral therapeutic agent specifically designed for thrombocytopenia associated with chronic liver disease.By precisely regulating the platelet production process,it helps patients raise their platelet counts to safe levels to successfully undergo various invasive medical procedures.This product is not indicated for normalizing platelet counts and is not approved for use in pediatric patients under 18 years of age.

　　Indications and Efficacy

　　Lusutrombopag is indicated for the treatment of thrombocytopenia in adult patients with chronic liver disease who are scheduled to undergo an invasive procedure,including liver ablation,endoscopic variceal ligation,liver biopsy,tooth extraction,and other invasive medical interventions.

　　Mechanism of Action

　　Lusutrombopag is an oral small-molecule thrombopoietin receptor agonist.It binds specifically to the transmembrane domain of the human thrombopoietin(TPO)receptor on megakaryocytes,inducing the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells into megakaryocyte progenitors and promoting megakaryocyte maturation and platelet release,thereby effectively increasing peripheral blood platelet counts.The drug has high selectivity and does not prolong the QT interval,demonstrating favorable cardiac safety.

　　Dosage and Administration

　　This medication must be dosed strictly according to the scheduled procedure time:start taking lusutrombopag 8 to 14 days before the planned invasive procedure.The recommended dose is 3 mg once daily for 7 consecutive days.The invasive procedure should be performed within 2 to 8 days after the last dose.

　　Storage Instructions

　　Store this product at room temperature between 20°C and 25°C(68°F to 77°F).Short-term temperature excursions between 15°C and 30°C(59°F to 86°F)are permitted.Do not freeze or expose to excessive heat and direct sunlight.

　　The drug is supplied in child-resistant blister packs containing 7 tablets(3 mg per tablet).It must always be kept in the original packaging and should not be removed and transferred to other containers to ensure moisture and light protection.Avoid storing the medication in high-temperature and high-humidity environments such as bathrooms and kitchens,and keep it out of the reach of children.Expired or unused medication should be disposed of properly in accordance with local medical waste regulations.
