In a multicenter, randomized, double-blind controlled clinical trial, patients treated with high-dose (≥70 mg·m) cisplatin experienced highly emetogenic reactions after receiving chemotherapy. The control group received intravenous injection of 20 mg ondansetron on day 1 and oral administration of 20 mg dexamethasone on day 1; 8 mg·d dexamethasone was taken twice on days 2 to 4. The experimental group received 12 mg dexamethasone and 125 mg aprepitant orally on day 1, 8 mg dexamethasone on days 2-4, and 80 mg·d aprepitant on days 2 and 3.

The effect of the test group was obviously better than that of the control group; taking aprepitant significantly delayed the time to nausea, and also had a good effect on delayed vomiting.
