【特别关注】阿瑞匹坦的用法用量及副作用
With the upgrading of antiemetic drugs, the effect of alleviating chemotherapy-induced vomiting is currently satisfactory, especially the emergence of NK-1 receptor antagonists (including fosaprepitant, netupitant, and lorapitant). Patients receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC) and moderately emetogenic chemotherapy (MEC) chemotherapy regimens have achieved significant results in alleviating acute and delayed vomiting reactions. However, the CR rate for nausea control, especially delayed nausea, is still relatively low. Today I will tell you about aprepitant’s usage, dosage and side effects.
: Aprepitant is a three-day intervention and includes a course of treatment with a corticosteroid and a 5-HT3 antagonist. The recommended dose of aprepitant is 125 mg taken orally one hour before chemotherapy on the first day and 80 mg once daily in the morning on the second and third days.
Aprepitant side effects: anxiety, bradycardia, constipation, headache, hypokalemia, weakness/tiredness, disorientation, hiccups, tachycardia, rash, anorexia, weakness, pelvic pain, bone pain, redness, upper respiratory tract infection, increased liver index ALT, perforated duodenal ulcer, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, etc. During the period of using aprepitant, it is recommended that patients strictly follow the doctor's instructions to take the medication to maximize the effect of aprepitant. They must not change the medication time and dosage on their own. You must know that even if you increase the dosage of the drug, there is no way to improve the actual therapeutic effect of the drug. On the contrary, it may cause more adverse reactions, so do not use the drug blindly.
