依普利酮可以治什么病症呢？
(Eplerenone) is a new type of selective aldosterone receptor blocker. Eplerenone can improve the quality of life of patients with left ventricular dysfunction (ejection fraction ≤ 40%). Clinical trials have proven that eplerenone can also be used for congestive heart failure after acute myocardial infarction. Eplerenone can be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs for the treatment of hypertension.
Recommended dosage of eplerenone:
Adult patients:
Hypertension (HTN) - Initially 50 mg PO qDay; may increase to 50 mg PO q12hr; complete therapeutic response may take up to four weeks; hyperkalemia may occur at doses > 100 mg/day.
Post-MI Heart Failure - Initially 25 mg PO qDay; as tolerated, may be titrated to a maximum of 50 mg once daily over 4 weeks, dose adjustment may be necessary based on potassium levels.
Renal Impairment - Contraindicated if CrCl <50 mL/min or serum creatinine >2 mg/dL in men or >1.8 mg/dL in women.
Dose Adjustment - In patients with post-MI CHF taking moderate CYP3A inhibitors, do not exceed 25 mg once daily; in patients with hypertension taking moderate CYP3A inhibitors, do not exceed 25 mg once daily; for inadequate blood pressure response, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 25 mg twice daily.
Elderly patients:
