Isentress 400mg is known as an integrase inhibitor. It stops the virus from growing and infecting more cells.

This is an antiviral drug that prevents human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from multiplying in the body. Raltegravir is used with other HIV drugs to help control HIV infection.

It helps reduce the amount of HIV in the body, allowing the immune system to function better. This reduces your chance of contracting HIV complications (such as new infections, cancer) and improves your quality of life. Nausea; headache, dizziness, a tired feeling, or problems sleeping (insomnia).

Rapagravir may cause serious skin reactions that may be fatal. Stop taking this medication and get emergency medical help if you have a fever, general malaise, muscle or joint pain, extreme tiredness, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or tongue, burning eyes, sore skin followed by redness or swelling. Stop taking this medication and get emergency medical help if a purple rash spreads (especially on the face or upper body) and causes blistering and peeling.
