3. It is contraindicated in patients with liver parenchymal damage.
4. Unless under certain circumstances, it should not be administered to patients with severe blood diseases.
5. If patients who receive cytotoxic agents do not have side effects on bone marrow or peripheral blood, they can be administered together.

[Precautions for Xuebijing Compound-Sulfamethoxazole Injection]
1. If rash occurs, use of this product should be discontinued.
2. Infusion overload is possible, especially when high doses are given to patients with underlying cardiopulmonary diseases. Patients with impaired renal function should adjust the dosage according to the above instructions, and preferably measure the plasma concentration. Appropriate urine flow should be maintained.
3. Elderly people: Special care is usually required when treating elderly patients, as this group of people are more sensitive to side effects and appear to suffer more severe effects.
4. When treating patients with potential folic acid deficiency, folic acid supplementation should be considered, such as the elderly.
5. In order to prolong the high-concentration dose of this product, you can also consider supplementing folic acid. If treatment with this product is prolonged, especially for patients with suspected folate metabolism disorders, it is recommended to perform a complete blood count, including platelet measurement, every month. Death is extremely rare, but death may occur from the following serious effects: Stevens-Johnson syndrome, Lyell's syndrome (toxic epithelial necrosis), explosive hepatic necrosis, agranulocytosis, aplastic anemia, blood dyscrasias, and respiratory hyperexcitability. It should be noted that in patients with severe parenchymal damage to the liver, the absorption and metabolism of trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole may be altered.
6. Hemolysis may occur in patients with G-6-PD deficiency. Caution should be exercised when administering this product to patients with a history of severe allergies or bronchial asthma.
7. This product should not be used for pharyngitis caused by group A beta-hemolytic streptococci because it is less effective than penicillin.
8. Trimethoprim will reduce phenylalanine metabolism, but this will not have a significant impact on phenylketonuric (phenylketonuria) patients with appropriate dietary control.
9. Avoid administering this product to patients known or suspected to be at risk for porphyria. Trimethoprim and sulphonamides may worsen porphyria (although not as specific as sulfamethoxazole).
10. Patients at risk for hyperkalemia should have their serum potassium concentration monitored closely.
