Rivaroxaban怎么用？

Rivaroxaban is indicated for adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (except atrial fibrillation caused by rheumatic valvular heart disease and atrial fibrillation occurring after heart valve replacement) to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism. So how should Rivaroxaban be used?

How to use Rivaroxaban:

(1) Usage for hip and knee replacement: 10 mg once a day for 35 days and 12 days for knee replacement.

(2) How to use DVT and PE: On days 1 to 21, 15 mg and 30 mg twice a day, and on days 22 and later, 20 mg and 20 mg once a day, respectively.

(3) Usage for non-valvular atrial fibrillation: 20 mg once a day. For patients with low body weight and advanced age (>75 years old), 15 mg can be used as appropriate, once a day.

(4) The 10 mg tablet can be taken on an empty stomach or with food; the 15 mg or 20 mg tablet should be taken with food.

(5) If the whole tablet cannot be swallowed, crush the tablet, mix it with applesauce and take it orally immediately.

Can special groups of people take Rivaroxaban?

(1) Pregnant and lactating women: Disabled.

(2) Children: Not recommended for use by children under 18 years old.

(3) Elderly: Patients over 75 years old should reduce the dosage appropriately and please use it under the guidance of a physician or pharmacist.

(4) Hepatic insufficiency: It is contraindicated in patients with liver disease who have coagulation abnormalities and clinically relevant bleeding risks, including patients with decompensated cirrhosis.

(5) Renal insufficiency: It is contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency. Other patients should have their renal function monitored regularly during treatment.

Who can take Rivaroxaban?

(1) Adult patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery.

(2) Adult patients with deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).

(3) Adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who have one or more risk factors (such as heart failure, hypertension, age ≥75 years, diabetes, stroke or transient ischemic attack) can take Rivaroxaban.
