来法莫林(Xenleta)的用法用量
Take Xenleta tablets at least 1 hour before a meal or 2 hours after a meal. Please follow your doctor's advice for specific usage and dosage.
Usage and dosage of Xenleta
1. Standard dosage regimen
The treatment regimen and course of treatment are also different depending on the dosage form.
Take tablets of 600 mg orally, once every 12 hours, and the course of treatment is 5 days.
2. Important dosing instructions
(1) Take on an empty stomach: Take at least 1 hour before a meal or 2 hours after a meal.
(2) Swallow the whole tablet: Use enough water (about 180-240mL) to swallow the whole tablet. Do not crush, chew or divide.
3. Handling of missed doses
If you find that you have missed a dose, you should take it as soon as possible. If it is less than 8 hours before the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose directly as originally planned. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Dose adjustment of Lefamoren (Xenleta) for special groups
1. Patients with hepatic insufficiency
(1), mild liver injury (Child-Pugh A grade): No dose adjustment is required.
(2) Moderate or severe liver impairment (Child-Pugh class B or C): Oral tablets are not recommended due to lack of relevant research data.
2. Patients with renal insufficiency
Patients with renal insufficiency (including patients requiring hemodialysis) do not need to adjust the dose when using lefamoren injection or tablets.
3. Elderly patients
Age does not affect pharmacokinetics. Elderly patients (≥65 years old) can use standard doses without adjustment.
Lefamoren (Xenleta) overdose
1. Overdose symptoms
Currently, there is limited research data on the overdose of Xenleta in humans. Based on its pharmacological effects, overdose may exacerbate its known adverse reactions, especially:
(1) Gastrointestinal reactions: such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
(2) Cardiotoxicity: The risk of QT interval prolongation may increase.
(3) Liver effects: May cause elevated liver enzymes.
2. Treatment principles
In the event of drug overdose, the following supportive measures should be taken:
(1) Close observation: Closely monitor the patient, including electrocardiogram monitoring, to evaluate the QT interval.
(2) Symptomatic and supportive treatment: maintain water and electrolyte balance and deal with specific symptoms.
(3). Important note: Lefamolin and its main metabolites cannot be removed from the body through hemodialysis.
