Respimat (generic name: tiotropium/olodaterol, Spiolto® Respimat®) is a drug developed by Boehringer Ingelheim. It has been officially approved by the China Food and Drug Administration and is suitable for long-term maintenance treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, referred to as COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema) to relieve symptoms.

Multiple authoritative studies have shown that dual bronchodilators, represented by Respimat®, are better than glucocorticoids/long-acting β2-receptor agonists (ICS/LABA) in improving lung function, relieving dyspnea, and preventing acute exacerbations. COPD is a destructive chronic lung disease that gradually weakens the patient's respiratory function. It is known as the most "silent" invisible killer among respiratory diseases. Although it is named "Slow", the number of people suffering from it is increasing "rapidly" and it has become one of the main killers of Chinese people's health. The latest epidemiological survey results show that the current prevalence of COPD in people over 40 years old in my country is 13.7%, and the number of patients has reached approximately 100 million, making it the third most common chronic disease in China after hypertension and diabetes.

How to use Boehringer Ingelheim Respimat is: the recommended dose of Respimat. Respimat is effective 24 hours a day, so it only needs to be used once a day, and if possible, at the same time every day. Spray twice with each use. Because chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema) is a long-term condition, use Respimat every day, not just when you have breathing problems. Do not exceed recommended dosage. (2) Dosage: 60 sprays per bottle, each spray contains 2.5µg of tiotropium (equivalent to 3.124µg of tiotropium bromide monohydrate) and 2.5µg of olodaterol (equivalent to 2.736µg of olodaterol hydrochloride).
