Precautions for use of Almirol in special populations
1. Elderly patients
There is currently no pharmacokinetic research data specifically for elderly patients. For elderly patients, it is especially important to carefully adjust the dosage of Amirol under the guidance of a doctor, and closely monitor its effects on the liver and kidneys, as well as possible adverse reactions.
2. Patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency
The safety and pharmacokinetics of Almero in patients with hepatic and renal insufficiency have not yet been clarified. Therefore, patients with hepatic insufficiency should use it with caution. If necessary, adjust the dosage or suspend use under the guidance of a doctor. Patients with renal insufficiency should also be used with caution and under close monitoring.
3. Pregnant and lactating women
Currently there is a lack of relevant clinical data to support the safety of use of Almiro in pregnant and lactating women. Therefore, it is not recommended for use by this group of people unless a doctor clearly judges that the benefits outweigh the risks.
4. Males and females with reproductive potential
It is not clear in the instructions.
5. Use in children
The safety and effectiveness of Amirol in children under 16 years of age have not been established, and its use is not recommended for patients in this age group.
Important Precautions of Almiro
1. Long-term use of Almiro may cause retinal pigment changes and even lead to pigmentary macular degeneration. Therefore, patients should undergo a detailed ophthalmological examination before starting treatment with Almirol and have regular reexaminations while taking the drug.
2. Almirol may increase the risk of bleeding. If patients plan to undergo surgery, they should inform the doctor in advance so that the drug withdrawal time can be reasonably arranged.
3. Tell your doctor immediately if you notice any unusual bleeding or bruising, black tarry stools, blood in the urine or stool, or pinpoint red spots on your skin.
4. Please be careful not to cut yourself when using sharp objects (such as safety razors or nail clippers).
5. Avoid participating in contact sports or other situations where bruises or injuries may occur.
