Is Sotolaxib effective in treating illnesses?
Generic version of sotorasibu
Regular generic drugs need to be approved by the national drug regulatory agency to ensure that their safety, effectiveness and quality control meet standards before they can be marketed. There are currently multiple versions of generic drugs on the market. These generic drugs are generally developed and produced in comparison with the original drugs. They have been approved by the national drug regulatory agency. The drug effects and safety are basically the same as the original drugs.
The more common generic drugs of sotorasibu are mainly produced by Bangladesh Everest Pharmaceuticals, Laos Lucius Pharmaceuticals, Laos ASEAN Pharmaceuticals, Laos Daxiong Pharmaceuticals and other manufacturers.
Can the generic version of sotorasibu also be effective in treating the disease?
Whether the generic version of sotorasibu can effectively treat the disease depends on whether the generic drug has passed the necessary quality control, bioequivalence studies and regulatory approval. If the generic drug of sotoraxib follows the same quality standards as the original drug during the production process, and proves equivalence to the original drug in terms of clinical effects, it will have similar or essentially the same therapeutic effect.
Efficacy of sotorasiib
Most trial participants with non-small cell lung cancer had been previously treated with immunotherapy and/or chemotherapy. Everyone in the study received sotorasiib once daily until their disease worsened and they dropped out of the trial, or had to stop taking it because of side effects. Participants' results were followed for an average of 15 months.
Of the 124 evaluable patients with non-small cell lung cancer, 4 had complete tumor disappearance, 42 had partial tumor shrinkage, and 54 had stable disease, meaning their cancer had not improved or worsened. Participants had a median overall survival of 13 months and an average of seven months without their cancer getting worse.
When considering the use of generic sotorasiib, patients should ensure that it is produced by a regular pharmaceutical company and has been approved and certified under a strict regulatory system.
