Romiplostim can controlITP, but it does not cure it. Keep your appointment to receive your romiplostim injection even if you feel well. Romigrastim does not work for everyone. If platelet levels do not increase enough to prevent bleeding after 4 weeks of taking the maximum dose of romiplostim, your doctor may stop romigrastim treatment.
