The Difference Between Ramucirumab and Ramucirumab

Ramucirumab (Ramucirumab) may also be called ramucirumab, both of which are the same drug. When used alone, ramucirumab can be used to treat hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients who have alpha-fetoprotein levels in the blood of at least 400ng/mL and have been treated with another chemotherapy drug called sorafenib. When used in combination with the drug erlotinib, it can treat certain types of EGFR mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that have spread to other parts of the body. It can be used to treat stomach cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and colorectal cancer when used in combination, such as alone or with a chemotherapy drug called paclitaxel to treat certain types of stomach cancer, or cancer that is advanced or has spread to other parts of the body, where the stomach and esophagus meet; or with a chemotherapy drug called docetaxel to treat cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and has gotten worse during or after another type of chemotherapy; or used in combination with the chemotherapy drug FOLFIRI (irinotecan, leucovorin, and fluorouracil) to treat colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body and gotten worse during or after certain other types of chemotherapy.
