Efficacy of ixazomib

Ixazomib (Ixazomib) is a drug used to treat multiple myeloma (Multiple Myeloma). Ixazomib is a proteasome inhibitor that interferes with the normal metabolism and growth of multiple myeloma cells by inhibiting the function of the proteasome. This helps reduce the production of abnormal proteins and prevents the spread and reproduction of cancer cells, thereby controlling the progression of the disease. Ixazomib has been shown to prolong progression-free survival in patients with multiple myeloma. Patients on maintenance therapy are often able to maintain stable disease for longer periods of time and reduce the risk of disease recurrence.
