Are Vitant and Pazopanib the same medicine?

Pazopanib(Pazopanib) and Vitant are the same medicine. Vitant is the trade name of pazopanib marketed in China, and this drug has entered the scope of medical insurance. Pazopanib is suitable for the treatment of adults with advanced renal cell carcinoma and for the treatment of adult patients with advanced soft tissue sarcoma(STS) who have previously received chemotherapy. The efficacy of this product in patients with adipocytic soft tissue sarcoma or gastrointestinal stromal tumors has not been proven. The recommended dose is 800 mg once dailytake at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurs. Do not crush tablets as absorption may be increased, affecting systemic exposure.
