Capmatinib is a drug used to treat non-small cell lung cancer in adults. The most common side effects are peripheral edema (especially swelling of the hands, ankles, or feet), nausea, fatigue, increased creatinine levels in the blood (a sign of kidney problems), vomiting, difficulty breathing, decreased appetite, and back pain. These side effects usually appear within a few weeks of starting treatment and may gradually lessen or go away. However, for individual patients, side effects may last longer. If the patient is taking capmatinib and has side effects, please communicate with the doctor in time. The doctor can evaluate and manage the side effects according to the condition of the disease.
