Mitotane (Mitotane) is an antineoplastic (anticancer) drug used to treat cancer of the adrenal gland (adrenocortical cancer) and is sometimes used to treat Cushing's syndrome. Mitotane has been used to treat adrenocortical cancer (ACC) for more than 50 years or so. It is widely used as monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy drugs, but its mechanism of action and therapeutic efficacy are less understood. Tolvaptan tablets (Tolvaptan) is a vasopressin V2 receptor antagonist drug indicated for the treatment of clinically significant hypervolemic and isovolemic hyponatremia (serum sodium <125 mEq/L or less obvious hyponatremia that is symptomatic and cannot be corrected by fluid restriction), including patients with heart failure and syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH).
