When and how to take Alpelisib-Piqray

Alpelisib (Piqray) is an oral tablet, The recommended dose is 300mg (two 150mg film-coated tablets) once daily, taken with food and for as long as your doctor advises treatment, and until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurs, take Alpelisib at approximately the same time each day. The recommended dose of fulvestrant when administered with apelvis is 500 mg on days 1, 15 and 29 and monthly thereafter, subject to adjustment based on its prescribing information. If the patient is taking Apelvis, and is unable to swallow the tablets whole, they can be dissolved in water. Place the tablets in a drinking glass containing 2-4 ounces (60-120mL) of water. Wait 5 minutes, then crush the tablets and stir the mixture with a spoon.
