When to take Semaglutide tablets

Semaglutide tablets (Semaglutide) is a human glucagon-like peptide-1 analog that has been approved for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Current prescribing information directs taking oral semaglutide tablets on an empty stomach (called the fasted state), meaning that the patient takes semaglutide tablets at least 30 minutes before the patient's first food, drink, or other oral medication of the day, with no more than 4 ounces of plain water. Waiting for less than 30 minutes, or taking Semaglutide Tablets with food, drinks (except plain water) or other oral medications will reduce the absorption of Semaglutide Tablets , thus reducing its effects. Waitingmore than 30 minutes to eat may increase the absorption of semaglutide tablets.
