Ustekinumab 130mg usage and dosage

Intravenous ustekinumab (Ustekinumab) is available as 130 mg ustekinumab in 26 mL bottles in single-dose 30 mL Type I glass vials with coated stoppers. For the treatment of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, the first dose is usually administered intravenously, and the dosing schedule is based on body weight. For patients weighing less than 55 kg, the recommended dose is 260 mg (2 bottles); for patients weighing 55-85 kg, the recommended dose is 390 mg (3 bottles); for patients weighing more than 85 kg, the recommended dose is 520 mg (4 bottles); then 90 mg is administered subcutaneously every 8 weeks for the duration of treatment, and every 8 weeks thereafter.
