Infliximab (Infliximab) is mainly used to treat autoimmune diseases. Its main functions include anti-inflammatory and immunosuppression. As a biological agent against tumor necrosis factor-alpha (Anti-TNF-α), infliximab blocks the activity of TNF-α and reduces the inflammatory response, thereby effectively controlling the symptoms and progression of the disease. It is widely used to treat conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis, which all involve abnormal activation and inflammation of the immune system. By regulating the overactivity of the immune system, infliximab helps slow tissue damage and joint destruction, improving patients' quality of life. Patients using infliximab need to receive detailed evaluation from their doctor and be monitored regularly during treatment to ensure optimal treatment results.
