The use of bedaquiline in children requires the supervision of professional doctors, and regular testing of liver function and ECG parameters. If symptoms such as nausea, palpitations, or significant fatigue occur, the medication should be suspended and evaluated.

Bedaquiline must be taken with food because it has high fat solubility, and eating can significantly increase the drug absorption rate. If the patient has difficulty swallowing the entire tablet, the tablet can be dispersed in a small amount of water or mixed with soft food such as yogurt and applesauce and taken immediately to avoid drug residue. It is forbidden to break the medicine into pieces and expose it to the air for a long time to prevent the degradation of the active ingredients.
