Differences in names and usage between loplastin (Huierning) and romilastin
Romiplostim () and romiplostim are actually the same drug, but their Chinese translation names are different, which does not mean that there is any difference in pharmacological effects or usage. They are all recombinant fusion protein thrombopoietin receptor agonists, mainly used to treat chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). By stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of bone marrow megakaryocytes, it can increase platelet production, thereby effectively reducing the patient's risk of bleeding.
In terms of usage, Ropremilast and Romigrastim are completely identical and both are administered by subcutaneous injection. Routine dosage needs to be individualized based on patient weight and platelet levels, and is usually injected once a week. In the early stages of treatment, doctors will closely monitor changes in platelets to ensure the appropriate dose of the drug and to avoid rapid rise in platelets causing blood clots or insufficient platelets leading to bleeding.
In terms of efficacy and safety, there is no difference between the two. Common adverse reactions include injection site reactions, headache, joint pain, and a rare risk of thrombosis. Patients need to regularly review blood routine, liver function and thrombosis-related indicators during use to ensure medication safety and therapeutic effect.
In general, Romigrastim and Romigrastim are identical in essence, usage and clinical application. The choice of which name to use is only related to the manufacturer or translation habits and does not affect the clinical treatment plan and effect. When patients use it under the guidance of a doctor, they do not need to worry about the impact of name differences and only need to pay attention to dosage adjustment and regular monitoring.
