How to take tepotinib

Tepotinib (tepotinib) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have mesenchymal-to-epithelial transition (MET) exon 14 skipping alterations. Before using drug treatment, patients need to undergo tumor tissue testing to clearly identify the presence of MET exon 14 skipping changes in plasma or tumor specimens.

The recommended dose of tepotinib is450 mg taken orally once daily with food until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity occurs. If a dose is missed, do not take the missed dose within 8 hours of the next scheduled dose. Patients with dysphagia may place tepotinib in a glass containing 30 mL (1 ounce) of non-carbonated water, stir until the tablets are dispersed into small tablets (the tablets will not completely dissolve), and drink immediately or within 1 hour, rinse the glass with an additional 30mL and take the full dose. The recommended dose of tepotinib to control adverse reactions is reduced to 225 mg orally once daily. Patients who cannot tolerate 225 mg orally once daily should permanently discontinue tepotinib.
