Efavirenz/emtricitabine/tenofovir (EFV+FTC+TDF, Viraday) instructions
Efavirenz/Emtricitabine/Tenofovir (EFV+FTC+TDF, Viraday) is a compound antiretroviral drug that contains efavirenz EFV (EFV), emtricitabine (FTC), and tenofovir (TDF) are used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.
Indications:
Efavirenz/Emtricitabine/TenofovirApplicable to adult patients and Treatment of HIV-1 infection in adolescents (12 years old and above weighing ≥40kg).
Mechanism of action:
Efavirenz/Emtricitabine/Tenofovir is a highly effective combination antiretroviral therapy. Among them, EFV is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI), which can inhibit HIV reverse transcriptase, thereby blocking viral replication. FTC and TDF are nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTI), which inhibit viral replication by interfering with viral reverse transcriptase. These three drugs, used in combination, work synergistically to help slow viral replication, reduce viral load, and maintain the patient's immune function.
Pharmacology:
EFV, FTC and TDF are rapidly absorbed after oral administration. EFVcan be taken with food, but attention should be paid to the taking time to reduce the occurrence of some side effects. FTC and TDF have high bioavailability and can effectively reach target cells.
Dosage and usage:
