Ramucirumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody (IgG1) developed for the treatment of solid tumors. This drug was developed by ImClone Systems Inc. It was isolated from Dyax's natural phage display library. Ramucirumab is used to treat advanced gastric cancer or gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) adenocarcinoma, metastatic non-small cell lung cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
