Is there an Indian generic version of Gilteritinib?

Gilteritinib (Gilteritinib) is a targeted treatment drug for acute myeloid leukemia (Acute Myeloid Leukemia, AML). Its main indication is to treat patients with certain types of AML, particularly those carrying mutations in the FLT3 gene.

AML is a subtype of leukemia that involves abnormal proliferation and poor maturation of leukemia cells in the bone marrow. FLT3 (FMS-Like Tyrosine Kinase 3) gene mutations are relatively common in AML, accounting for about 30% of cases. This mutation leads to abnormal activation of FLT3 receptor tyrosine kinase, stimulating the growth and differentiation of leukemia cells and causing rapid disease progression.

The main mechanism of action of giritinib is to prevent the growth and proliferation of AML cells by inhibiting the activity of FLT3 receptor tyrosine kinase. This makes geritinib an effective tool for the treatment of patients with AML harboring mutations in the FLT3 gene.
