How to take Niraparib
Niraparib (Niraparib) can be used for first-line maintenance treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. The recommended dose is based on body weight. For patients with a body weight <77kg (<170 lbs) or a platelet count <150000/mcL, the recommended dose is 200mg (two 100mg capsules), taken orally once a day. For patients weighing ≥77 kg (≥170 lbs) and with a platelet count ≥150,000/mcL, the recommended dose is 300 mg (three 100 mg capsules) taken orally once daily. Patients should begin treatment with niraparib no later than 12 weeks after their most recent platinum-containing regimen.

Niraparib can also be used for the maintenance treatment of recurrent germlineBRCA-mutated ovarian cancer. The recommended dose is 300 mg (three 100 mg capsules), taken orally once daily. Patients should start treatment with niraparib no later than 8 weeks after the latest platinum-containing regimen.
To control adverse effects while taking niraparib, you may consider interrupting treatment, reducing the dose, or discontinuing the drug. If the initial dose level is 300 mg, the first dose is reduced to 200 mg/day and the second dose is reduced to 100 mg; if the initial dose level is 200 mg, the first dose is reduced by 100 mg/day. If further reduction of the dose to less than 100 mg/day is required, discontinue niraparib.
