How often to use Nivolumab
Nivolumab (Nivolumab) is a monoclonal antibody or immunotherapy used to treat many different types of cancer. Nivolumab is a programmed death-1 (PD-1) inhibitor that helps the immune system's T cells recognize and attack cancer cells. It does this by helping block the ability of cancer cells to disguise themselves and evade detection by the immune system. Nivolumab is generally administered as an intravenous infusion over 30 to 60 minutes every 2 to 4 or 6 weeks.
As long as the patient's doctor recommends continued treatment, the doctor will determine how often the patient receives nivolumab based on their condition and body's response to the drug. When used in combination, nivolumab must be infused before ipilimumab and a separate infusion bag must be used. In general, nivolumab should not be mixed with another drug or given into the same vein. Prior to administration, nivolumab should be stored refrigerated at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius (36°F to 46°F) and protected from light (in the original packaging). It should not be frozen or shaken.
The generic drug Nivolumab is currently on the market in China, but it has not yet been included in medical insurance. This drug is a strictly controlled drug, and its purchase channels are restricted. Specifications The price of each box of 40mg/4ml may be around RMB 4,000.
